Warm Weather Shipping and Handling (April through October)

Our products CANNOT be in transit over the weekend during warmer months, therefore we will only ship orders Monday - Wednesday. Any order placed Wednesday-Friday will ship the following Monday. .

Chocolate and heat sensitive items will ship in Styrofoam coolers with Dry Ice. There will be a $10 "ICE" charge per ship-to address, that you will see in your cart at checkout.

Dry Ice dissipates during transit after 48 hours. Because of this, you will need to select Priority or Expedited shipping for chocolate items/heat sensitive items so your order arrives in good condition if outside of our two-day zone. Please see transit map below.

All of our orders are shipped via UPS. At this time, UPS does NOT guarantee delivery time, therefore we cannot guarantee when your order will arrive at your doorstep.

Our non-chocolate products can be shipped with our regular packaging and standard shipping year round. Warm Weather fees will not apply! Check out the "Warm Weather Friendly" category on our homepage to see what items we have available that are ideal to ship during the warmer months!

Restrictions

Baked Goods: To ensure freshness, all baked goods must be shipped to a street address in the continental United States. Layer Cakes and other baked goods packed with dry ice have additional restrictions, described below.

P.O. Boxes: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Alaska & Hawaii: Items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii must ship Expedited to ensure quality as it is impossible to guarantee timely delivery.

Dry Ice

Our most perishable items are packed in specially-made, styrofoam coolers with dry ice to ensure continuous refrigeration from our bakery to your doorstep. The following items are packed with dry ice year-round:

Layer cakes
Frosted cake trios
Cheesecakes

Orders with dry ice must be shipped to a street address in the continental United States.

Dry ice-packed items should arrive quickly to ensure peak freshness. To prevent products from melting over the weekend, dry ice-packed items only ship Monday through Wednesday. Since we normally ship no sooner than the day after the order is placed, orders placed for these items after Tuesday will be moved to the following Monday:
