For best taste and texture, allow your cake to thaw completely at room temperature before serving. Enjoy up to 5 days at room temperature or wrap and freeze for up to 1 year.

A friend first introduced me to your products several years ago. The Carmel cake is to die for. The cake was fresh and didn't last long in my house. I decided to order one for my family out of state. They couldn't believe a mail order cake could taste so good. I make it a practice to order a cake every thanksgiving. The cake is absolutely delicious. We have ordered for family gatherings and birthday gifts. Ordered some for the young people in the family. The general consensus is that the cake is very good, however, the frosting is too sweet. Noticed several members removing the frosting when eating the cake including the younger ones. Please consider decreasing the sugar content in the frosting. Haven't ordered one in a while. Thank you so much for your consideration!

This is the 2nd time we've had this cake and it does not disappoint! Every one of our guests loved it and wanted to know what bakery it was from. I love sweets. I love cake. I love caramel. This cake brings together all I love. The simple three layers of cake are moist (and stay moist for days after cutting into it). The cake is also rich, dense and flavorful. The icing is thick and sweet and has a fantastic buttery, caramel flavor. This is the second time I've purchased this cake in less than a year, and I had honestly forgotten how amazingly good it was.

We thought we'd have to forego the caramel cake we ALWAYS enjoy when going home to Mississippi for Christmas. Found this online and thought I'd give it a shot. Wow! It's even better than anything we've ever had. Especially the icing -- smooth and no sugary "grit". And the cake is still incredibly moist 5 days after opening it. Well done.

I was more than a bit hesitant when I saw the price of this cake but my wife remembered it from her childhood so I wanted to re-create that memory for her. If you are reading my review, stop right now and order this cake! Not sure words can express what this bakery has done. They have put love into a cake, shipped it in a fool proof box so it arrives frozen an 100% fresh and for some like myself who had never heard or tasted this type of cake after living the high life for 71 years...I had my mind blown. The cake was delivered within 1-2 days from ordering. It came in a styrofoam container with ice packs inside. Opened container, unwrapped well sealed cake; I saw the most beautiful caramel cake ever. Sliced a piece and upon tasting, bells and whistles sounded off my taste buds. Don't normally give reviews, however, trust me on this one folks..BEST EVER CARAMEL CAKE. When I simply cannot get the thought of something sweet and absolutely delicious out of my mind, I order the Caramel Layer Cake -- and wait for the Great Arrival! This is the BEST cake I have ever eaten! It's like a combination of cake and thick caramel fudge sauce. I live alone, so I cut it into pieces and freeze them until I "need" another fix! This cake would be great for a holiday dessert or for a gift for someone very special.

I ordered the caramel cake for our Easter luncheon. It was amazingly delicious! It was moist and the taste was as good as a homemade one, if not better! The cake arrived perfectly packaged a few days before hand. We put it in the freezer and the day before Waster we put it in the refrigerator. My guests we thrilled and thought I had made this gorgeous cake. Needless to say, I will be ordering it again! We highly recommend Savannah Candy for their cakes, A+ across the board!!

The caramel icing is like my mother's home made caramels from 50 years ago. I found the cake itself to be dry, a little disappointing. I'm expecting the Red Velvet cake in a couple days. The Caramel Cake arrived in perfect condition and 3/4 of the dry ice melted. If you're expecting icing like cream cheese and caramel mix, this is not for you. It's real caramel cooked and made like caramel candy, but, softer.

I was thrilled to see a cake available for purchase so close to Christmas at such a fair shipping price! Nicely packed. Had some icing issues when pulling the wrap off of the cake. Probably should have done it while still frozen. I would like to try another cake next time as this caramel was quite sweet. Nice that the cake was not which complimented each other.

I have a anither review from yesterday about dry ice issues because the first cake I received was completely melted. Savannah's Candy Kitchen replied immediately and sent a new cake out next day air so I could have it in time for Father's Day. My husband and Dad are anxiously waiting for the cake to defrost to try it! Customer Service (Megan Meyer) is beyond incredible and definitely want to make things right! Will be purchasing cakes and gifts from them from now on.

It was shipped very well packaged and was stored in my freezer until Christmas morning when I allowed the cake to thaw at room temperature. This is the best place to order your cakes. I started off saying I would never order cakes from Savannah candy kitchens, but I have a whole new outlook on how they handle customers. To begin with, I ordered the carmel cake and was delivered a red velvet. After calling savannah kitchens, they immediately sent the correct cake, but it arrived all bent and cracked, of course I wanted this cake to be beautiful since I was serving for Christmas. I called and explained to them what had happened, of course time is running out and I was trying to figure out what to do, and decided I would display the red velvet and have the carmel already sliced. To my surprise, I received the carmel cake, the friday before Christmas and it was perfect! Savannah Candy Kitchens not only have delicious cakes (carmel and red velvet were delicious), but they also have the best customer service representatives, because every time I called, I talked to a different rep. Thanks so much Savannah Candy, this is the place I will be ordering all my cakes in the future. I have told all my friends about the excellent cakes and service. Thank you!!!
