A family favorite, our towering Coconut cake is made with three stacked, fluffy layers hand-frosted with made from scratch coconut icing. This Coconut Cake's classic taste has made it a Southern favorite as well as Savannah's most preferred dessert.

For best taste and texture, allow your cake to thaw completely at room temperature before serving. Enjoy up to 5 days at room temperature or wrap and freeze for up to 1 year.

I ordered this cake from my mom. She usually gets her coconut cake from the grocery store. She used to make her own but she is 90 and doesn't fill like baking anymore. We opened the box together. I was telling her, it's a surprise a cake is in there. She said how can a cake be inside. When we finally opened it her eyes was like what a cake is inside. She took one bite and said "this is a real cake". I said which one takes better grocery store or this one she said this is the real deal. I also ordered a pecan pie was mouth watering. The coconut layer cake is absolute perfection. It is coconut at it's finest! It's tender, shredded coconut compliments the most deliciously moist cake layers and creamy frosting, all while having just the right balance of sweetness. It makes it impossible to only have one slice. The coconut layer cake is outstanding as a desert and, as our family does, is enjoyed in the morning with a cup of hot, black coffee. It it heaven sent!

This is the third cake I have ordered from Savannah, and all have been gifts. Each one has been received very quickly and in excellent condition. The recipient is a seasoned baker, and she has told me each cake is as good as homemade and delicious. Unfortunately I have yet to taste one for myself. I am a coconut cake aficionado...have been for more than 50 years. I never refrain from ordering them when dining out and they are always on my list of what I want for my birthday cake. This year, my wife ordered one of yours. Yikes! It was easily the best coconut cake I've ever ordered or had ordered for me. No other coconut cake is even in the same area code as yours. And it tops virtually ever home made version I've ever had, too. The cake was moist and delicious and, covered, stayed that way for a full week. The icing was incredible and loaded with tons of coconut (it's amazing how bakeries sometimes skimp on that key item). So, all in, your cake was just "off the charts" delicious. You can bet that every time I get hit with a craving for a coconut cake, yours will be number one (by a mile) on my list. I used to think that all you folks made was great candy. Boy, was I wrong. I thought I hated coconut from when I tasted it at 9 years old. Fast forward into adult life and I thought I would take a leap and order this cake. I knew my family would eat it regardless of me. My husband's favorite Birthday cake is coconut. We all love it in our family, but it is complicated to make. This year, with everyone "sequestered " at our home, it felt like more than we could manage. So we ordered from Savannah and could not have been more pleased! It was beautiful and delicious! We LOVE this coconut cake! I normally order it for Christmas. My husband's birthday is Dec 25 so we have this as his birthday cake. He looks forward to it every year! This year to treat ourselves during quarantine, I ordered it as a surprise for Easter. Everyone was thrilled! It's a rich cake so it can feed plenty. It always arrives very well packaged and remains incredibly intact. It holds very well if kept frozen and is extremely moist with wonderful flavor once thawed! I also think it lends itself to creative decorating to make it your own. Fresh flowers, candies or frosting writing can easily be added to make it an easy center piece. A wonderful cake that my whole family highly recommends!

My mother loves coconut cake and was so surprised at how wonderful this cake was. It took her back to her youth. Everyone else like it too!

I ordered a cake for my mom from Savannah's and due to the winter storms it took several days longer to get to her. But what impressed me the most was how Savannah's offered to ship her a new cake at no extra charge! I didn't even need to ask for a new one to be sent, they were so gracious to offer to take care of it right off the bat! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! After reading some reviews I was expecting an awesome coconut cake. It was just OK. The filling between layers was too sweet and besides the shredded coconut on top, nothing else tasted like cocunut.

My husband surprised me for mother's day with this delicious coconut cake. He knows I LOVE coconut cake and havent found one in my area that I love, until I saw this cake advertised on the Foodnetwork and mentioned that I would love to try it...and with my surprise, my husband purchases it for me. This cake is rich in taste, but delicious to the last bite. It was filled with coconut galore!! 5 Star! Will buy again. love the moist cake and delicious icing!! compliments to the bakery chef!!
