We use chopped Georgia Pecans that are overflowing with our family recipe Southern style caramel that has been used for over forty years. Each Turtle Gopher is topped with our signature milk chocolate hand swirl. Savannah's Gophers and Pralines are the best! I have tried gophers and pralines from other vendors, but the quality and flavor do not match that of Savannah's. The caramel in the Milk Chocolate Gophers is creamy and delicious. The pecans have a clear, distinct, sweet, nutty flavor. And, the combination of milk chocolate creates a delightful symphony of flavors. The Pralines are heavenly with their creamy, whipped sugar base, containing the sweet, fresh pecans. There's none that can compare to Savannah's.

I purchased this same box of Milk Chocolate Gophers last year and kept them in the freezer! When I would get a sweet-tooth attack, I would remove one and let it thaw for about 15 minutes. This would cause me to eat it slowly and enjoy each bite. This was and is the best sweet snack I can ever remember eating. To keep my weight in check, I enjoyed a piece each week. So, I will repeat the same routine this coming year. The candy remains fresh, and the eating gets better with each bite. I love these candies!!!

We love your milk chocolate gophers- we first tried them when we visited your store in Charleston this summer. We even talked about them after we got home so recently I ordered them for a Christmas present for my hubby. They arrived promptly and I felt I should give him his early Christmas present. 100 STARS! October 2021, I went to the Savannah Candy store in Savannah, GA, and purchased (3) milk chocolate turtle gophers. Upon departure, I couldn't STOP thinking about how PHENOMENAL the milk chocolate turtle gophers were. So, I took it upon myself to order a box for my birthday in December and boy was I pleased!! So fresh, delicious and a speedy delivery! I was too excited when they arrived. I basically ate the entire box within 3 days and can't wait to order more in the near future. These are the VERY VERY BEST TURTLES I have ever had !!! You cannot go wrong giving as gifts too. Everyone I gave them to LOVED THEM AND WANTED MORE !!! Lol THEY ARE DELICIOUS !!
